      <title>Equalizer Settings | Bose Soundsport Wired</title>
      <link>https://journal.dinobansigan.com/equalizer-settings-bose-soundsport-wired?pk_campaign=rss-feed</link>
<description>&lt;![CDATA[Update: &#xA;I added a new version, which in my opinion is much better than the first one I shared on this post. I&#39;m keeping the first one for historical purposes, but I don&#39;t use it anymore.&#xA;&#xA;Got a new PC at work some time ago. That means I lost all the EQ settings that I used with the Creative SoundBlaster E1 external amp/sound card. Thankfully I still have the EQ settings for my Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones here. But I lost the ones for my Bose Soundsport Wired earphones. Just another reminder to save your stuff to devices/locations that you control. &#xA;&#xA;Anyway, I had to start from scratch with my Bose Soundsport Wired earphones. These earphones are bright sounding earphones. They don&#39;t have that much bass to begin with. This is where an external amp/sound card with EQ settings can come in handy. Using the built-in &#34;Rock&#34; preset from Creative, I modified it to add more bass. The result was surprisingly good. This setting sounds even better than any of the previous EQ settings that I&#39;ve made for my Bose Soundsport Wired earphones. There is now enough bass -- more than enough for these earphones -- but with minimal degradation to the mids and highs. &#xA;&#xA;a class=&#34;imageShadow&#34; href=&#34;https://i.snap.as/SDEa0TI.png&#34;Equalizer settings for Bose Soundsport wired earphones./a &#xA;&#xA;!--more--&#xA;31Hz = 24db &#xA;11Hz = 18dB &#xA;125Hz = 10dB &#xA;250Hz = 2dB &#xA;500Hz = -1dB &#xA;1KHz = -1dB &#xA;2KHz = 0dB &#xA;4KHz = 0dB &#xA;8KHz = 4dB &#xA;16KHz = 4dB &#xA;Level = 0dB &#xA;&#xA;hr class=&#34;sb&#34;/&#xA;Update: &#xA;As I listened to more songs today, I fine tuned the EQ settings and came up with this new version. This one features less bass, which results in less muddy mids and highs. There&#39;s still enough bass to enjoy listening to music though. It also works better with a lot more songs than the first version I had.&#xA;&#xA;a id=&#34;version3&#34; class=&#34;imageShadow&#34; href=&#34;https://i.snap.as/T83KGUl.png&#34;Version 3 of the EQ Settings for my Bose Soundsport Wired earphones/a&#xA;&#xA;31Hz = 10db &#xA;11Hz = 14dB &#xA;125Hz = 10dB &#xA;250Hz = 2dB &#xA;500Hz = -1dB &#xA;1KHz = -1dB &#xA;2KHz = 0dB &#xA;4KHz = 0dB &#xA;8KHz = 4dB &#xA;16KHz = 4dB &#xA;Level = 0dB &#xA;&#xA;hr class=&#34;sb&#34;/&#xA;This post is Day 31 of my &amp;#35;100DaysToOffload challenge. <description>&lt;![CDATA[These are the EQ settings that I use most often when I&#39;m listening to music at work. I have an Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphone connected to a Creative SoundBlaster E1 external amp/sound card, which is then connected to my work PC via USB port. With these settings the ATH-M50 comes alive! There is ample strong clean bass, while the clarity of the mids and highs are still maintained.&#xA;&#xA;ATH-M50-v5-EQ&#xA;&#xA;!--more--&#xA;31Hz = 10dB&#xA;62Hz = 11dB&#xA;125Hz = 7dB&#xA;250Hz = 3dB&#xA;500Hz = -1dB&#xA;1KHz = -4dB&#xA;2KHz = -1dB&#xA;4KHz = 3dB&#xA;8KHz = 6dB&#xA;16KHz = 4dB&#xA;Level = 0dB&#xA;&#xA;Tags: #EqualizerSetting&#xA;&#xA;!--emailsub--&#xA;&#xA;div id=&#34;post-signature&#34;&#xD;&#xA;div class=&#34;alert-info&#34;&#xD;&#xA;ba href=&#34;https://remark.as/p/journal.dinobansigan.com/equalizer-settings-audio-technica-ath-m50&#34;Discuss.../a/b or leave me a comment below.&#xD;&#xA;/div&#xD;&#xA;/div]]&gt;</description>
