Journal Entry – 046
The dawn from on high shall break upon, to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the way of peace.
If you asked me where that quote came from, I would be tempted to say from Lord of the Rings. Turns out, it is from a gospel reading based on Luke 1: 78-79. Taken without context, it sounds like a beautiful passage from an epic fantasy novel.
Here are some more good songs from the Top 50 Rock Songs of 2019 countdown.

Trying to make it easier for my friends to follow me on this online journal, so I've started adding the email subscription box at the bottom of my posts.
Attended Christmas Eve Mass at 9pm. The rest of the family decided to join us too; they normally attend Mass at midnight. Davin fell asleep during the Mass, which is the first time that has ever happened.
After Mass we ate dinner then got ready for sleep. I ended up assembling Davin's gift, the Florida 500 Speedway Track, so that it will be ready when he wakes up. Messed up the placement of some stickers, but eventually got better at it. Turns out we didn't have enough batteries for his new toy, it needed four D sized (LR20) batteries.
Cutting this journal entry short as Davin is already waiting for me to play Pro Evolution Soccer. So I'll end here.
