It sounds cliche but time does fly fast. When my son turned 3, gone was the 2 year old who was an expert walker but needed assistance with almost everything. He has been replaced by a very inquisitive toddler that keeps asking questions like, “What’s that noise?” or “Who’s that?” or “What’s that daddy?”
Yes time does fly fast and those moments we shared when he was 1, when he was 2, are now frozen in time as memories. I will never be able to experience what it feels to have him as 1 or 2 year old again. I guess that’s one reason why other parents want another son or daughter, so they can go through the same experience again with a different kid.
All I’m trying to say is, if you are a parent, make each moment count. We’ll never be able to go back in time to when our kids were young.
